Privacy / GDPR​

What data does the app process?

4Sellers Sachmerkmale processes no personal customer data. It processes only:

  • the Sachmerkmale data you maintain (categories, attributes, values) – as native Shopify metaobjects and metafields in your store,
  • a technical Shopify session (access token) so the app can communicate with your store.

Where does the data live?

The business data lives in your Shopify store (Shopify is the leading data source). The app itself only holds the technical session.

GDPR mandatory webhooks

The app supports Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Since no customer data is stored, access and erasure requests for customer data are satisfied by default. On uninstall, the technical session is removed (see Uninstall).

EULA (End User License Agreement)​
