Uninstall

You can remove the app at any time through the Shopify admin.

Uninstall the app​

  1. In the Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
  2. Find 4Sellers Sachmerkmale in the list.
  3. Click Uninstall and confirm.

What happens on uninstall​

  • The app's technical session (your store's access token) is removed. This is done via the uninstall webhook; as a safeguard, the privacy webhook shop/redact applies as well.
  • No customer data is deleted, because the app stores none.

What is kept​

The Sachmerkmale data (categories, attributes and values) lives as native Shopify metaobjects and metafields in your store. It is kept after uninstall at first and is not removed automatically.

Removing data completely (optional)​

If you also want to delete the attribute data, remove the associated metaobject entries and definitions (Kategorie, Merkmal, Sachmerkmal) as well as the product/variant metafield Sachmerkmale in the Shopify admin under Settings → Custom data.

Note: Removing the definitions also deletes the values stored with them on all products and variants. Only perform this step if you truly no longer need the data.

Remove the theme block​

If you placed the theme block, remove it in the theme editor: Online Store → Themes → Customize, select the block and delete it.
